Meshes

RESISTANCE

Withstands impact from the bucket of an excavator. Keeping its integrity when hit by an excavator, the mesh will warn the driver of the shovel and effectively hinder the movement of the bucket.

Warning message

he colour of the mesh is fully customisable in order to correspond to the nature of the buried network. The OVERPIPE mesh meets the requirements of the geotextile CE certification. A printed warning message (which can be customised) enhances its effectiveness as a warning device.

Installation

Manufactured 5 m wide, it can be cut at the customer’s request to the required dimensions. This avoids any longitudinal overlap.

environment

The mesh is made of PET, with an aqueous phase coating respecting the environment.

WARNING MESH
WITH HIGH MECHANICAL RESISTANCE

The OVERPIPE warning mesh with high mechanical resistance (GHRM) is considered a mechanical protection by French regulations (GESIP guide 2008/02). It can withstand impact from an 18-tonne excavator, and benefits from a risk reduction factor of 0.05 to 0.025 (GESIP guide 2008/01).

Reinforced strips on the edges increase the resistance against lateral impact and provide a support for the customisable warning message. The specific production method (warp-knitting) serves to reinforce the connections between warp and weft threads.

WARNING MESH
WITH HIGH ELASTIC RESISTANCE

The OVERPIPE warning mesh with high elastic resistance (GHRE) is a geotextile composed of synthetic PET fibres with an aqueous phase coating. It is an excellent alternative to the standard warning mesh, offering effective protection of underground networks for very little extra cost. If snagged by the bucket of a mechanical digger, the OVERPIPE GHRE can be raised up to 1 m above the ground without tearing, in accordance with the requirements of French regulations (GESIP guide 2008/02). It benefits from a risk reduction factor of 0.075 (GESIP 2008/01).
